Mert Iseri

Born in Turkey, Mert Iseri attended Istanbul Technical University before finding his way to Northwestern University to complete his education.

As a sophomore industrial engineering student at Northwestern, he and a few friends helped found Design for America, an award-winning national design initiative that brings together students from all backgrounds – from musicians to electrical engineers, anthropologists to biologists – to create a national network of designers and community members confident in their ability to create social impact through design.

Meeting challenges in education, health, transportation, and energy, DFA teaches human centered design and implements innovative solutions based on insights into human needs, rapid prototyping, user-testing, and interdisciplinary team work.
