John Coyle
John Coyle knows a thing or two about time.
An accomplished athlete who won the 1986 US Junior Cycling championships and a 1994 Olympic silver medal for short track speed skating, John is a leader in the field of chronoception—the study of how humans process time.
A graduate of Stanford University’s Product Design Program, John is an expert in innovation and design thinking, and the author of Design For Strengths: Applying Design Thinking to Individual and Team Strengths (2018) and The Art of Really Living Manifesto (2016).
With a mission to innovate the human experience, #TheTimeGuy teaches innovation courses at Marquette University and at CEDIM University Graduate School in Mexico, and also serves as an NBC sports analyst.
